Neighborhood dining ranges from pocket-sized French bistros, to at least two dozen Indian restaurants, to pierogi palaces, and everything in between.
Financial District
The FINANCIAL DISTRICT is rich in history, from the Wall Street to the South Street Seaport. Wall Street is the focal point of this neighborhood, a narrow street home to the New York and American Stock Exchange. The South Street Seaport boasts many shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as antique ships that have been converted into floating museums. At night, the area is very peaceful and quiet.
Most of the apartments are converted skyscrapers, some of which once housed the headquarters of leading American companies. Greenwich Village

TRIBECA, the TRIangle BElow CAnal Street, lies on the lower West Side of Manhattan, bordered by Broadway and West Street. Mansions and huge prewar buildings are abundant in the sixties and seventies, and on and near Fifth and Park Avenues. Madison Avenue shopping features high end shops including Prada, TSE, Judith Ripka, Betsey Johnson, Valentino, Tom Ford, Armani and Carolina Herrera. The Upper East Side has endless places to dine, such as the famous Serendipity, Daniel, Café Boulud and Coco Pazzo, where celebrities can frequently be spotted. “Museum Mile” is lined with world renowned museums, such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Frick Collection, The Jewish Museum, the Asia Society, and The Guggenheim.
Upper West Side
The UPPER WEST SIDE lies between Central Park and the Hudson River, above West 58th Street and below 125th Street. The Upper West Side is primarily a residential area, with many residents working Downtown or Midtown. It has the reputation of being home to New York City’s affluent cultural and artistic residents.
The Upper West Side is home to many landmarks, cultural centers and famous institutions. Time Warner and the American Broadcasting Company’s headquarters are there, as are the theaters at Lincoln Center, which feature the world renowned Metropolitan Opera, the New York Philharmonic, and the New York City Ballet. The Upper West Side also features Columbus Circle, which is the intersection of Broadway, Central Park West, Central Park South and Eighth Avenue. Cultural institutions include the American Museum of Natural History and the Rose Planetarium.
West Village
WEST VILLAGE is one of the most popular neighborhoods to live in. It is the center of bohemian lifestyle with classic artist's lofts and new residential towers.
