Facing the Atlantic to the south, Wainscott has some of the most exclusive and expensive properties in the world. Wainscott is south of the highway and west of Georgica Pond. On its west is the village of Sagaponack and on the east is the village of East Hampton. It is known for the pristine sand beach, the Atlantic, and the fabulous beach homes.

Wainscott has a strong historical and agricultural aura. Many of the farm houses date back to the 1700′s. This quintessential community encompasses the Hamptons way of life. The east side of Wainscott faces Georgica Pond. The exclusive Georgica Association has a 100-acre subdivision on the west side of the pond. The most famous house in the Georgica Association is called Michael Kennedy house.
