Montauk is complete with lighthouses, white sand beaches, and a charming town. The 160-foot tall Montauk Lighthouse is a national landmark and the oldest working lighthouse in America. Montauk is home to spectacular high cliff oceanfront real estate, family owned restaurants, shops and bed-and-breakfasts. It is a family oriented hamlet with several water sports including surfing and fishing.

Montauk is a major tourist destination and is considered a beach resort. The small town has several restaurants, bed and breakfasts, and hotels and is a popular vacation spot in the summer months. Many of the Montauk hotels are only open April through November, while a few serve fishermen and other customers year round, including the famed Gurney’s Inn.
